X-fibre slabs are unique for their optimum water distribution and excellent EC-control, not only within one slab but also between slabs. This creates a root environment with outstanding control and with far better and much more even growth and root distribution. Slabs are 36", long and are available in several different widths.

Cultiwool slab is a stone wool slab that is made with the X-fibre technology. Instead of the usual horizontal or verticle fibre orientation, the fibres using this technique are oriented in all directions throughout the substrate. In this way, two advantages are combined: a rapid root development supplied by a vertically oriented fiber structure and a better root volume throughout the substrate supplied by a horizontally oriented fibre structure. This slab provides perfect control and an even distribution of the water content and EC. This ensures that the slab can be managed for good vegetative and generative growth.
